Instead of hijacking the Sprite site topic I thought I'd make my own.
So first an introduction, I'm Goemar (of RGZ 'fame') who has just started The Metal Slug Sprite Database. Which has nothing to do with metalslugsprites.NET
The aim is to rip EVERY single sprite used (or not used) in the Metal Slug series. This means everything from bosses to pieces of spinning metal when things explode.

So if there's anything you want from the Metal Slug games please request it here and I'll get right on it. My first request, the Iron Nokana, was done in about 2 days (obviously not of constant spriting) and the HUD was done in less than an hour, so I like to think I'm pretty quick at getting things done.

At the moment I'm ONLY accepting request from Metal Slug 1-5. NOT 6,7, XX, Advance, Mission 1+2, any mobile games, or appearances in fighting games.

First come first served, though obviously the more sprites something has the longer it'll take.

Health Bar
Small Silver Text (for the score etc.)
Small Gold Text (for ammo and bombs etc.)
Timer Text
Large Silver Text (for Press Start etc.)
And the little box the ammo sits in.

If I come across anything else, or if you remind me of something I've missed I'll add it.

Ive always wanted to see sprites ripped of Nadia Cassel. I cant remember what game she was in but if it was in 1-5 would you do that?

Working on all the main characters, but they have a LOT of sprites so I'm afraid that's a "it'll be done when it's done" kinda thing, sorry.

Well if anyone has any more request let me know. At the moment I'm working on the standard rebel soldier, which is a pretty big sheet so far.
Might need your guys help to identify where some are in game so I can check they're accurate.
