Solidus
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a8i6pOPRSug Well, I must say this looks kinda kick ass. From what I'm getting it seems the timeline has been changed that Arnold saved Sarah Connor back when she was a child, and thus knows more about the Terminators and the war, plus we get to see Arnie back, and I must admit I'm liking what they've done with the T-1000. Something that always bothered me about the original movie, is that for all the hype the T-1000 never lived up to being that much of a bad ass, like we've never seen him remove parts of his body and turn 'em into projectile weapons, or like turn off his hand and turn into a sword or a battle axe. For all the talk of him being able to use various form of bladed weapons, he barely did that and mostly got smacked around more himself. Skurge
I loved the original movies, and I love how this series can be continually altered because of timeline shit, this looks fantastic I especially love how now FINALLY they got plasma rifles. Good ol'e Arnie the goofball is back and I'm glad he's in this movie for real.
Underling
I did love how they mirrored T1 scene for scene even perfectly copying the sets and locations from 1984 then BOOM timeline breaks apart, it helps connect it a little to the original films. Backtothefryingpan
"I especially love how they FINALLY got plasma rifles." Agreed. This definitely looks better than... Terminator salvation *Shudder*. Also interesting to see Arnold Schwarzenegger return.

I don't if Salvation was THAT bad (anything looks better to plan 9 from outer space or battlefield earth )... but I didn't watch it anyway, this genisys looks cool. I should maybe watch it. I should maybe watch it. About Salvation... you remember the opening scene of T2: Judgement Day, right? Skynets Terminators, backed up by HK-Tanks, go up against the rag-tag Tech-Com survivors in the ruins of downtown LA, with purple lasers flying everywhere? Thats what I thought Salvation was going to be. I was sorely disappointed.
Guest Vasili
Salvation wasn't too terrible, but it was still a disappointment. For me, it's probably the worst addition to the Terminator-saga as of now. As for Terminator: Genisys, i can only hope that this film is at least decent. The only thing i really dislike about it so far is the choise of actors. Fucking Jai Courtney and Emilia Clarke in leading roles? Really? Skurge
Yeah I didnt like Salvation that much, thought it lacked terminators and stuff, just didn't seem like a good movie to me. I love also how they did the origional movie part, at first glance I thought it was a remix. But then BOOM fuck yeah look at this pimped out shit. THEY NEED THE 80'S SYNTHESIZER BACK. [CommanderCool]
Fucking Jai Courtney and Emilia Clarke in leading roles? Really? Don't you speak ill of Emilia Clarke! She's a NATIONAL TREASURE! Jai Courtney is pretty naff though, I'll give you that.
Guest Vasili
THEY NEED THE 80'S SYNTHESIZER BACK. This. If Genisys is really set in an alternate timeline of 1984-Terminator, i expect to hear some gritty synthesizers in the soundtrack. Or at least a homage to both the original soundtracks. Don't you speak ill of Emilia Clarke! She's a NATIONAL TREASURE! Jai Courtney is pretty naff though, I'll give you that. Jai Courtney's acting is pretty cringe worthy imho, never liked his performances at all. As for Emilia Clarke i just feel that she won't give us a stellar performance either, especially alongside Bruce Willis' "son". Please Annapurna films, recast. Recast hard.
